Vale Eric Yeomans

Eric Yeomans, a founding member of 3CR Eric and the  presenter of the Australia China Friendship Society program  which went to air in the 1980’s died on November 29th 2008. Eric, a socialist and champion of the working class worked in the Australia Post Film unit and later as an Information technology specialist at Brunswick Secondary College. Eric was closely associated with officials of the Food Preservers union such as its long time Secretary Tom Ryan and 3CR legend Bill Hartley. Three of Eric’s passions were the collection and screening of progressive Films, repairing, building and maintaining computers and of course 3CR and the progressive causes that it covers. 3CR is a better place due to Eric’s involvement in the 3CR newsroom and sub committees during 3CR’s formative years.

Eric supported progressive issues, progressive viewpoints, progressive causes and progressive people and will be sadly missed.
